My girlfriend is on birth control now and she missed her first period on it. We did have sex about a week ago, I wore a condom (didn’t break) nor did I cum. Is it normal for a girl to miss her first period when she starts taking birth control? Or should I worry about it?
this could be because you don’t actually have your ‘period’ on the pill, you have a ‘withdrawal bleed’ due to taking the ’sugar pills’. personally i would say don’t worry but if you are get her to take a pregnancy test or go see a doctor or medical practitioner

Its hard to tell. When I started birth control, my doctor told me that my period would be irregular for awhile, then it would get back on track later on. If your girlfriend missed her period completely and NEVER got it, I would tell her to take a pregnancy test just in case. Otherwise, just patiently wait until the next one.

birth control is not effective for the first month. so just wait and tell her to keep taking it and if she doent have a period next month. you better go to the doctor. just to be safe birth control is tricky so just go sick with it and see wat happens!!!! hope i helped

The birth control messes around with hormones so its very possible to miss a period and not be pregnant. There’s always pregnancy tests to be sure

i didnt get mine the first month i started the pill either. your body just isint used to the new levels of hormones and needs some time to adjust, dont worry it’ll come.
