Cultivation of Organic Prawn
Duration : 0:13:12
You can’t "manufacture" marijuana. Manufacturing is where you take raw materials and convert them into a product through mechanical or chemical means. Pot has to be cultivated, which means it has to be grown and then collected in order to get "the bud"
Wraith, you got the best answer. Just wait.
Because the annexation and overall overtake of Native American lands was required to grow tobacco. They were essentially forcing the Native Americans off their land.
Aside from the theft of Native lands, tobacco ruins the soil and strips it of its nutrients making it near impossible to grow much of anything for a good while.
BTW…the Natives didn’t see anyone as owning any part of the land. True, they fought over territory and hunting grounds, but the land belonged to the Earth Mother and the concept of ownership of land was foreign and altogether absurd to them.
I can’t find the answer to this question anywhere in my history text book. The choices are
a) crops are tended by the entire village
b) crops are harvested by traditional methods
c) crops are moved to new land once soil is worn out
d) crops are grown for profit rather than for personal use
helllllllp?
Well, let’s think about this.
Slash and burn frees up forested/jungle areas for crops and the wood ash enriches the soil for a few years. When the soil wears out, a new section is burned and the old one left to go back wild. Traditionally this was done in a sustenance format, but now commercial crops are done this way too.
Permanent cultivation is the modern method of farming where a field is fertilized and soil is managed to keep producing crops year after year for generations. This has always been a combination of sustenance and commercial production as left over crops, and some specially grown crops are marketed for money and the goal of the farm is profit.
Plantation farming is kind of a mix of the two if I understand things right. Fields are rotated in and out of production. Historically large quantity of crops were grown that required a lot of hand labor and since hand labor was traditionally cheap, innovation wasn’t encouraged. Crops were grown with an intention to market for money.
So I guess I’d select d as the answer, but I’d be shaky on it.
its a first time offence .its a long story so i wont go in to detail but what do you think?
they only found one little plant, but there were lots of plant pots from some that had been brought and cut and taken away. they knew it hadnt all been grown where we are b/cus we only had one light in a small room. like i say long story!
Possession of a small amount for ‘personal use’ would get you a ’street caution’
Cultivation is seen as ‘intent to supply’ and is the more serious charge – likely to get you a spell in Her Majesty’ Playhouse !
a. to prevent contamination of your cultures
b. to allow you to feel confident that if you use a pure culture for an experiment, the results generated will be from only that microorganism
c. to prevent contamination of yourself and the bench area
d. Aseptic technique is not really necessary.
*more than one answer is possible

How do they expect people to get it in their homes? It doesnt make sense to me.
I live in Alaska.
This has nothing to do with being nice to people who want to smoke pot and all to do with civil rights and being fair.
Much of Alaska is remote villages – a small plane arrives a few times a week – the village will have Public Safety Officer with no jail. A PSO is basically like a deputy, EMT, and fireman all wrapped into one person. Say the PSO arrests someone for a small amount of pot – now they have to call in a plane, the PSO has to leave the village and transport the poor prisioner, the prisioner is taken to court in a city hundreds of miles from home, arrained, and then released on his own bond. Now the guys is stuck in a strange city, might have no money, or not enough to pay the hundreds of $$ to get back home. That, and the village is without a PSO until he can get back on the next scheduled flight. Someone gets hurt – they could die in the village.
The solution is Alaska ‘forgives’ small amounts of pot. On the flip side – if the local cops want to nail you – they can simply hold you until federal ones arrive. There is no shortage of FBI, Customs, and Coast Guard in Alaska that can enforce the federal standards any time, any where, 24/7. So it pays to be nice to the officer that finds your 1/2 ounce stash……. very nice. lol
Hope this helps

i know it’s legal to do so if you own a valid growing license.
I believe you need a prescription from a doctor before you can be considered for a growing licence. You can only grow it for personal consumption. If you give any to other people with or without prescriptions you will go to jail.
