Men, what makes some of you think it’s OK to hit on a woman you deem attractive if you don’t have bank?

If the common consensus is that men go for looks and women go for money, what makes an unattractive janitor think a female law student would be interested in talking to him all the time…while not speaking to others?

Many bad boyz and gangbangers do well at getting with women without the need for "bank". Game and Confidence are in, you see.

Janitors, homely or not, are human beings. As for law students, Scott Adams may beg to differ.

  3. I agree. I always find out how much a woman earns before hitting on her. Unfortunately "Hey babe, I was wondering how much you are worth?" doesn’t go down all that well with most women.

    I’m even more surprised someone would live without a bank account…I mean, you need money to pay off bills and taxes (and omg, EVERYBODY gets taxed here in the uk, well, except the chavs). You get taxed for TV, road tax, MOT tax, car tax, food tax, clothing tax (especially if its cotton), tax on international franchises, tax tax and council tax.

    If you have a job, and live in someplace independently, you’re so taxed you’d barely move. Therefore, you need a bank account where you can keep track on your salary (no matter how meager) and allow everybody else to stick their hands in ‘em.

    Because he doesn’t realize that she’s incredibly shallow? It doesn’t work like that anyway, men are attracted to ‘the best they can get’, as are women. People are generally most attracted to people who are a similar level of physical attractiveness (Walster et al, 1966), so maybe this female law student isn’t all she’s bigging herself up to be? Also what makes a shallow female law student assume that somebody’s only motivation for talking to them would be to get them into bed?

  10. Maybe he was making the most of an opportunity to talk to someone. I wouldn’t imagine a janitor getting much human interaction during the day, depending on where his janitorial duties take him. Perhaps you’re just full of yourself and think that he was hitting on you. If all you look for in a guy is money, well, good luck with that.

    Also, people tend to go after people on a similar level of attractiveness. So assuming he is indeed ugly and actually trying to get you in bed and not just trying to be friendly because he sees you as approachable (the poor, misguided man), I hope you enjoy being hideous inside and out.
