If Regions Bank closed my account due to overdraft a couple of days ago, can I have it reopened?
I wasn’t even given notification that the checking account was closed. I have 2 direct deposits set to come through on that account the end of this upcoming week. What is the likelihood that the bank will allow me to reinstate my account?
Yes you can legally. If the bank is unwilling, you can just go to another bank without any problem.
Try the only bank in the country that has no ($0) fees if you have an overdraft – www.free-overdraft.com.
Thanks.
If the account has been SUSPENDED they may well reinstate it, but if they actually CLOSED it, that tends to indicate this may not be your "first offense", and there’s not much you can do other than beg! Any attempted ‘direct deposits’ will be rejected, and you should call and have them reissued as checks…
What DID you do?

This is cause you have had a negative balance for to long. You must pay what you owe the bank. Then they may let you open your account again. If you decide to open an account elsewhere and don’t pay the bank your account there will be closed shortly cause you will be put into chex systems.
