    Not sure of your specific situation, but if what you say is completely true, then yes that is definitely wrong. However, there’s a clause in everyone’s credit card contract called the “Universal default clause.” Basically, if you default on any other credit cards, loans, lines of credit, etc. the creditor, regardless of your relationship, can either close your card or increase your interest rate. Basically it’s because you’re a higher risk than when you first applied. Does that apply to you?
