    ok, get this, I went to the bank of america to change 80$ canadian once (roughly 75-78 US), I was told that it would take them three weeks to confirm that it is real money (wtf??) and that it would have cost 50$ US in fees, I hate to say it, but american banks are all full of shit, i went to get 200$ USD up here in BC, I walked out in 5 minutes and 5 bucks in fees.

    another one they do is give you a “fixed rate” interest on your savings account held at like 5% for the first two years or so, then it falls to 0.5% so you have to switch banks to find a better interest and it costs you more to switch then what you’ll gain from moving. i would love to see all the banks fall in sync like in fight club.
